Betwest Casino lists €5,000 plus 350 free spins as its welcome offer, asks 35x wagering and quotes 0 to 24 hours for e-wallet payouts. It is an offshore casino: no licence we could verify. There is no Australian licence behind it.
Licence and legal position for Australians
This is the section to read twice. Betwest carries the label "offshore" in our table because we could not find a verifiable gambling licence for it. Reports we found point to a company registered in Costa Rica, which is not the same thing as a licence from a gambling regulator, and other review sites say they see no licence information at all. The casino launched in 2026, so there is no long track record either.
It is not licensed in Australia and no Australian authority oversees it. With an unverifiable licence, you also cannot count on a foreign regulator to hear a complaint. If you value being able to escalate a dispute, this is the weakest option of the five.
The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth) targets operators who provide these services to people in Australia, and ACMA enforces it, including by blocking sites. Players are not the target, but a player has no local dispute route. This is general information, not legal advice.
What the welcome offer is worth
Betwest lists €5,000 over five deposits, which adds up to 400% of deposits across the stages. The first stage is the generous one: a 100% match up to €1,000 and all 350 spins.
| Stage | Match | Bonus | Free spins |
|---|---|---|---|
| First | 100% | up to €1,000 | 350 spins |
| Second | 75% | up to €1,000 | none |
| Third | 75% | up to €1,000 | none |
| Fourth | 50% | up to €1,000 | none |
| Fifth | 100% | up to €1,000 | none |
The spins come as 35 a day over 10 days, all tied to the first deposit. The later stages carry no spins and match 75%, 75%, 50% and 100%. A sports bonus of 100% up to €250 is also listed.
Wagering and what could void the bonus
The 35x multiple matches most of the field, free-spin winnings carry 40x and the limit is 10 days. Winnings from the bonus are reported to be capped at 10x the bonus. One source gives a high maximum bet per stage and another a much lower one; we could not settle it, so we do not state a figure. Assume it is low and check the terms before you bet.
| Term | Value |
|---|---|
| Wagering on the bonus | 35x |
| Wagering on free-spin winnings | 40x |
| Time to finish | 10 days |
| Maximum bet with bonus | See the casino terms (not verified by us) |
| Cap on winnings | Winnings from the bonus are reported to be capped at 10x the bonus |
| Excluded deposit methods | Skrill, Neteller |
Worked example, using the first stage: deposit €1,000, receive €1,000. At 35x on the bonus alone you wager €35,000. If the multiple applies to deposit plus bonus, you wager €70,000. Both figures are illustrations; check which basis the terms use.
Our wagering guide explains how to do this arithmetic for any offer.
Money in, money out
Betwest lists 0 to 24 hours for e-wallet withdrawals and 24 to 72 hours for cards. The minimum deposit is €20 for each stage. A big headline offer matters little if you cannot get a payout, so test with a small withdrawal first.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Minimum deposit | €20 (per stage) |
| E-wallet withdrawal | 0 to 24 hours |
| Card withdrawal | 24 to 72 hours |
| Welcome bonus | Not available if you deposit with Skrill or Neteller |
The payout times are what the casino quotes. Cards are slower than e-wallets at every casino we compare, so choose your route before you deposit. More in our withdrawal guide.
Signing up and verification
- Open the casino from the button on this page and register with your real name, date of birth and address. You must be 18 or older.
- Before depositing, open the bonus terms and note the multiple, the time limit and the excluded methods.
- Make a first deposit of at least €20 with a method that qualifies, which rules out Skrill and Neteller.
- Upload your ID, proof of address and proof of your payment method as soon as it is requested, not when you first withdraw.
- Request a small withdrawal early on to see how the process and timing really work.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
It suits an experienced player who has read the risks, is happy to deposit in five stages and treats the money as spent.
Skip it if you want a licensed operator you can complain about, or you are new to offshore play.
Playing safely

Verdict: 9.3 out of 10
Betwest scores 9.3 out of 10 in our table on the strength of its offer and listed payout time. That score does not measure safety. The missing licence evidence makes it the least protected choice here, and we would sooner you start elsewhere on the list.
